Sustainable repurposing with numerous partners

Almost 900 years after its establishment by the Norbertines in 1129, the abbey is still a hive of activity. The domain lives on in its typical and spiritual atmosphere thanks to a large restoration campaign that will run until 2025 in collaboration with the City of Leuven, the current Norbertine fathers and partner organisations.

What’s unique is that the partners are putting the restored buildings to use again with their former functions, but in a contemporary context
